GLACIAR DE QUELCCAYA
Your adventure begins with hotel pick-up between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. We then travel to Cusipata, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast. After breakfast, we continue to the starting point of the hike.
From there, you will trek through beautiful Andean landscapes until reaching the Quelccaya Glacier, the largest tropical glacier in the world. You will have time to explore the area, take photos, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
After the visit, we return to Cusipata for a buffet lunch, and then travel back to Cusco, arriving approximately between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.
Itinerary
- 4:00 a.m. – Hotel pick-up.
- 7:00 a.m. – Buffet breakfast in Cusipata.
- 11:00 a.m. – Start of the hike to Quelccaya Glacier.
- 1:00 p.m. – Return to the vehicle and departure for Cusipata.
- 2:00 p.m. – Buffet lunch in Cusipata.
- 8:00 p.m. – Approximate arrival back in Cusco.
