MACHUPICCHU BY CAR (2D/1N)

DAY 1: CUSCO – HYDROELECTRIC – AGUAS CALIENTES

Your adventure begins with an early hotel pickup in Cusco, followed by a scenic drive to Hydroelectric Station. Along the way, you will pass through the breathtaking Sacred Valley, the majestic Andean mountains, and the lush cloud forest, enjoying spectacular landscapes throughout the journey.

Upon arrival at Hydroelectric, you will enjoy lunch before beginning the hike. After lunch, you will start a 2 to 3-hour walk along the railway tracks to the town of Aguas Calientes, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Once there, you will check in to your hotel and have the rest of the afternoon free to relax or explore the town at your own pace.

DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU – HYDROELECTRIC – CUSCO

The day begins with breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, you will head to the majestic Machu Picchu Citadel, where you will enjoy a guided tour of one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. During the visit, your professional guide will explain the history, architecture, and the most important sites within the sanctuary. After the guided tour, you will have free time to take photos and admire the breathtaking scenery.

After your visit, you will return to Aguas Calientes and hike back to Hydroelectric Station. The tourist transportation departs at 2:00 p.m. for the return journey to Cusco, bringing this unforgettable adventure to an end.

Itinerary

- 05:00 hrs: Pick-up from your hotel.
  05:30 hrs: Departure by tourist transportation towards Hidroeléctrica.
  13:00 hrs: Lunch at Hidroeléctrica.
  14:30 hrs: Arrival at Hidroeléctrica and start of the hike to Aguas Calientes.
  17:00 hrs: Arrival in Aguas Calientes and hotel accommodation.
  19:00 hrs: Informative briefing with the guide about the Machu Picchu visit scheduled for the following day.

05:00 hrs: Breakfast in Aguas Calientes and ascent to Machu Picchu (walking or by bus).

07:00 hrs: Entrance and guided tour of Machu Picchu.

09:00 hrs: Descent to Aguas Calientes and start of the hike to Hidroeléctrica.

14:00 hrs: Boarding of the transportation at Hidroeléctrica for the return to Cusco.

19:00 hrs: Arrival in the city of Cusco.
