WAQRAPUKARA

We begin our journey by tourist transport toward the village of Santa Lucía, with a stop in Cusipata to enjoy breakfast. We then continue to Punta Carretera, the starting point of our hike.

After a short preparation, we begin a 1 hour and 30-minute uphill hike (2.5 km) to Waqrapukara. Upon arrival, our guide will explain the history and significance of this impressive archaeological site. You will then have free time to explore the area, admire the breathtaking scenery, and take photos.

Finally, we hike back to Punta Carretera, where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Itinerary

- 05:00 hrs: Start of the tour to the Full Day Waqrapukara
- 05:00 hrs: Transfer by tourist bus to the town of Cusipata.
- 07:00 hrs: Arrival in Cusipata, breakfast and break.
- 07:30 hrs: We continue to the town of Santa Lucia.
- 09:30 hrs: Last trip from Santa Lúcia and start of the walk to Waqrapukara.
- 11:00 a.m.: Visit to Waqrapukara, including viewpoints and time for exploration.
- 12:00 hrs: Descent to the starting point, Saint Lucia.
- 1:15 p.m.: Road from Santa Lucía to Cusipata by tourist bus.
- Free time for lunch (included).
- 3:30 p.m.: Departure time of the bus from Cusipata.
- 6:00 p.m.: Arrival in the city of Cusco
